The legendary Thrash Metal band Sacred Reich is preparing to record their new album, scheduled for August 2025. This project will follow Awakeningtheir latest opus released in 2019.
An imminent return to the studio
It was in a message published on social networks on December 31, 2024 that Phil Rind, bassist and singer of Sacred Reich, announced the news: “We are entering the studio to record a new album. We are planning a release for the end of August. We can’t wait for you to hear it. Lots of tours are already in the works with incredible bands. After spending most of last year working on new music, we’re looking forward to hitting the road again in 2025 and 2026. Have a great New Year, and see you on tour!”
The creative process seems to have been an inspiring and natural experience for the group. In a June 2023 interview, guitarist Wiley Arnett explained how the band members’ reunion and contact with fans over the years reignited their musical inspiration.

The legacy ofAwakening and ambitions for the future
Awakeningreleased in 2019 via Metal Blade Records, marked a triumphant return for Sacred Reich after a long absence. Produced by Arthur Rizk, the album was praised for its mix of hard-hitting thrash, powerful grooves and engaging lyrics.
