Yseult, Pablo Vittar and Sevdaliza “elsewhere”
It’s a worldwide hit that no one saw coming. Yseult teamed up with Pabllo Vittar and Sevdaliza on “Alibi”sung in English, Portuguese and French. A bewitching and addictive song that we still can’t get enough of. One of the best sounds of 2024 for sure!

Aarooj Aftab | “Queen of the Night”
There are voices that haunt you in a split second. That of Pakistani singer Arooj Aftab is one of them. From the formidable album “Night Reign”, the song “Raat Ki Rani” tugs at the heart and awakens a distant melancholy thanks to the depth of Arooj’s timbre and sublime production. Wow!
Mahmood | “GOLD DOG”
We no longer present Mahmood. Especially since over time, the Italian artist manages to surpass himself, as if it were so easy for him to drop bomb after bomb. This is again the case with “TUTA GOLD”, as lyrical as it is political and fiery, with a devastating chorus, which caused a sensation at the Sanremo festival. Clearly, one of the big hits of 2024!
Nadjee | “Simple”
If we impatiently await the moment when Nadjee shines in the firmament of playlists as well as on stage, the young artist from 93 continues to drop nugget after nugget. Proof of his talent, he only needed a table and his hands to create the instrumental of “Simple”, where his vocal harmonies and his percussion blend perfectly while his honeyed voice and his melancholy comes to take us away. In a loop.
Noah Kahan | “Growing Sideways”
Originally, Noah Kahan’s album “Stick Season” was released in 2022. But the hit of the same name helped highlight his touching voice and folk universe this year, with “Growing Sideways” at the forefront . A title about depression or transgenerational trauma, as poetic as it is heartbreaking. One of the most beautiful songs in his young repertoire!

Chappell Roan | “Good Luck, Babe!”
Like a curious paradox, it was this hit song that shone the spotlight on Chappell Roan’s (formidable) debut album, making its popularity explode across the four corners of the globe. Recalling the best of 80s Kate Bush but with a contemporary pop twist, “Good Luck, Babe!” is one of those pieces which imposes an absolute certainty: that of being faced with a truly unique artist of her kind. A pearl!
Barbara Pravi | ”Bravo”
From Barbara Pravi’s superb second album, “Bravo” manages to grab our hearts and transport us with its galvanizing energy. How can we not recognize ourselves in sentences that scream truth like “ It’s part of the dance to have your toes stepped on » or « Despite the idiots and the blows, our legs still stand » ? A song that we want to brandish like a shield to face life.
Isak Danielson | ”Sweat”
If you like crying your eyes out while listening to songs in the rain, Isak Danielson’s music is for you! On the heartbreaking but beautiful “Yours Truly, Isak,” the queer Swedish artist speaks to the hearts broken by fallen loves. But it’s the intoxicating pop candy “Sweat”, which takes the desire up a notch, that has us totally succumbing to 2024. I wanna see you sweat !
Lady Gaga et Bruno Mars | ”Die With A Smile”
This is what we call an “instant classic”. From the first listen, all the love of Bruno Mars et Lady Gaga for soul shines through in this surprise duet that no one expected but which now sounds obvious. With its stunning rock musicality, its chorus that you want to sing at the top of your lungs and this crazy alchemy between two artists already in the legend, “Die With A Smile” fully deserves to have broken a historic listening record.
Redhead and Théophile | “Flying fish”
The sad disappearance of Nino Vella at the age of 31 only makes us regret all the more not having seen his talent expressed more with Rouquine, the duo he formed with Sébastien Rousselet. Released last winter, their second album “Mammifere” contains splendid pieces imbued with poetry and truth, like the superb “Flying Fish” with Théophile which took us on a journey between sky and sea.
DC Fountains | “Starburster”
We thought they were already at the top with “Skinty Son” . Fontaines DC hit the nail on the head with his fourth LP “Romance”, released at the end of the summer. Sent as a scout in the spring, the first single “Starburster” had the effect of a huge slap in the face: tense atmosphere, almost rapped vocals, big electric explosions. A truly haunting masterpiece that we never tire of, even after a hundred listens!
Christopher Owens | “Beautiful Horses”
It’s an understatement to say that Christopher Owens has come a long way. Former member of the group Girls, the American singer successively experienced a serious motorcycle accident and a homeless life. A dark period exorcised in “I Wanna Run Barefoot Through Your Hair”, his fourth solo opus, beautiful enough to cry. Second track smelling of Americana, “Beautiful Horses” is one of his rare songs that grabs you and never lets you go.
Fat Dog | “All The Same”
Funny UFO, Fat Dog! Bursting without warning on the British scene two years ago, the London collective mixes punk energy, big electro beats and even gypsy influence for a crazy but devilishly intoxicating result. The enormous “All The Same”, released at the beginning of the year, sums up in less than three minutes the totally crazy universe of this group… completely woof!
Half Alive | “Sophie’s House”
Since the dizzying music video for “Still Feel” five years ago, we have been following Half Alive’s career assiduously. Good news, the Californian trio has just released their best album, “Persona”. Nostalgic postcard of a bygone teenage summer, this superb album, which navigates between The 1975 and Jungle, is embodied through the pop nugget “Sophie’s House” accompanied by its ever-so-inventive clip.
Claude | “Addition”
French pop revelation of 2024, Claude touches the heart with his first full-length, “In Extremis”, which is one of our best albums of the year. Thus, opposites attract, where devastating electro beats mingle with melancholic tracks on the edge, like this superb “Addition”, which makes our hairs stand on end. “ Everything adds up and it clashes » will resonate in our heads for a long time!
