The metal world has been in turmoil since Slipknot unveiled Eloy Casagrande as their new drummer, succeeding Jay Weinberg. Although Weinberg’s departure was regretted by fans, Casagrande’s arrival sparked a new wave of impatience and enthusiasm.

Before joining Slipknot, Casagrande made waves with his breathtaking performances as the drummer for Sepultura. However, it was his hypnotic covers of Slipknot classics People=Shit and The Heretic Anthem on YouTube that truly showcased his undeniable talent and energy.

In these videos, Casagrande’s prowess on the drums is on full display. With fast-paced double-pedal playing and breathtaking grooves, he effortlessly captures the essence of Slipknot’s sound while adding his own dynamic touch. His technical precision and sheer intensity leave spectators speechless, attesting that he fully deserves his place among the ranks of Nu Metal titans.

Since joining Slipknot, Casagrande has played only a handful of gigs, including a confidential club show in Pioneertown, California, and a headlining slot at the Sick New World festival in Las Vegas.
