This Friday, several thousand people lined up attracted by the good deals.
This Friday shortly before 10 a.m., the big day crowd gathered at the FNAC on the Champs-Élysées. In fact, the store “heavily in deficit” had announced the start of the liquidation of its stocks until January 12 before a definitive closure, with big reductions to boot.

But faced with an unexpected crowd – nearly 3,000 people – and a queue that continued to lengthen under a cold winter sun, the store's managers finally announced that it would remain closed all day and would not reopen than Monday.
However, a new twist: the store has permanently closed its doors. The FNAC-Darty group announced the news this Saturday in a communication cited by France Info. Employees notably denounced the “unanticipated massive influx” and a lack of organization. Note that the 101 employees of the Champs-Élysées store were offered an identical position in another FNAC in Paris.
