The third part of the successful “Elusive” saga is recruiting from “Barbie” and “Jurassic World”! Filming is expected to begin this year.
“The Four Horsemen” will be back soon and they will be well looked after! Last week we announced to you that Elusive 3, the third part of the heist films launched in 2013 by Louis Leterrier, was confirmed with the return of Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fischer (back after his absence from the 2nd part), Dave Franco and Morgan Freeman in the cast.
An announcement that delighted fans who had been waiting for the continuation of the adventures of J. Daniel Atlas and his team for 8 years.
Elusive recruits at Barbie and Jurassic World
The Hollywood Reporter we learn today that the illusionists will be surrounded by Ariana Greenblatt (Sasha in Barbie), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu, Jurassic World) and Dominic Sessa (Winter Break). Plot details are still being kept under wraps, but the new film will once again delve into the world of illusionists while introducing audiences to a new generation of magicians.

Director Ruben Fleischer (Uncharted, Zombieland, Venom…) succeeds the French Louis Leterrier and Jon M. Chu as director. This will be his fourth collaboration with Jesse Eisenberg and Woody Harrelson.
Surprise box office success
A surprise success upon its release in 2013 (analysts said a film about conjuring wouldn’t work), Elusive grossed nearly $352 million at the international box office, the film also starring Michael Caine, Mark Ruffalo and Mélanie. Laurent is rated 3.9 stars out of 5 by AlloCiné spectators.
Released 3 years later, its sequel (rated 3.3/5) grossed nearly $335 million and saw Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan join the cast. Isla Fisher did not appear in the second film because she was pregnant at the time of filming. Having come close to drowning on the set of the first opus, the actress preferred to pass the baton for the sequel, but should therefore be back in this third part.
The filming ofElusive 3 should debut this year for release in 2025.
