Francesco Bagnaia will start the last Grand Prix of the season from pole. The Italian dominated Barcelona qualifying, three places ahead of title rival Jorge Martin. Fabio Quartararo (10th) and Johann Zarco (12th) will fight for the top-10 in the race.
Francesco Bagnaia is gradually establishing itself as the favorite for the Barcelona Solidarity Grand Prix. Best time during Friday practice, he confirmed by winning qualifying this Saturday morning. His time of 1'38.641 was almost beaten by Aleix Espargarobut the local Catalan hero finished 0.055s behind the double MotoGP world champion.
The official Aprilia will be surrounded by Ducatis since it will have one on its left, but also one on its right. The first line will in fact be completed by Marc Marquez. The championship leader Jorge Martin will open the second row after riding 0.208s from Pecco. The Spaniard can win his first title in the premier category in a few hours if he manages to score 2 points more than Bagnaia during the sprint.
