Affected by the devastating floods in October, which hit the Valencia region, the Ricardo Tormo circuit, which usually hosts the Grand Prix organized in the autonomous community, has undertaken maintenance work. To do this, he received great financial assistance from another circuit used to the MotoGP tour.
The site which houses the Circuit Ricardo Tormo was unrecognizable after the storm passed near Valencia. While the main access road to the circuit had collapsed, the Minimoto circuit was badly damaged. Although the track did not suffer any apparent damage, repair work was undertaken, with the aim of allowing the circuit to resume operations.
Earlier this month, the track announced that on-track action was ready to resume, but the private run there saw the day's players being transported to the circuit via a different route.
In order to help another circuit on the MotoGP tour, the Assen circuit has therefore decided to make a donation of 50,000 euros to the Valencian site. A benevolent approach, which allows the Dutch route to remind us that it will celebrate its centenary in 2025. The official announcement explains to us that this sum will aim to renew the Circuit equipment affected by the floods.
