Monday, December 16, in Saint-Pierre-Quiberon, elected officials met in municipal council to examine and validate several files including the 2025 municipal rates which were unanimously approved with an increase of 1.5%. For the Anchorage and Light Equipment Zone (ZMEL) and the two ports of the municipality, an increase of 2% was adopted.

Waste management

Elected officials took note of the annual activity reports concerning Auray Quiberon Terre Atlantique (Aqta), water and sanitation services, the activities of SPL -energy, the tourist office and Morbihan Énergie. In view of the report on the quality of the household waste management service, Joël Gouarin, elected from a minority list, expressed his reservations: “It does not reflect the difficulties observed. »

For her part, the mayor, Stéphanie Doyen, explained that she had identified the problems of congestion in the public domain and the inadequacies of collection every two weeks outside the summer period. “Improvements are expected with the upcoming deployment of voluntary contribution columns in the Patelle car park, in front of the Dunes market and at Rohu. Bin covers for bio-waste should also be installed,” said the mayor.

Social housing

The Partnership Plan for managing demand for social housing and informing applicants was the subject of discussions. Its objective is to improve the process for applicants at the intermunicipal level and to guarantee fair treatment. “The allocations are already made fairly and respecting strict criteria with social landlords. We should not distance ourselves from applicants with overly administrative management. Combining Excel and social tables has its limits,” indicated Maxime Le Padellec, deputy mayor in charge of social affairs. The mayor wanted to reassure by indicating that the criteria selected were very close to those already in force and that this plan aimed above all to strengthen information and streamline the procedures for applicants.
