After three consecutive Grand Prix (Emilia-Romagna, Indonesia and Japan), the MotoGP riders only had a week to rest, before getting back in the saddle for the Australian Grand Prix, from October 18 to 20 next.
The fight for the drivers’ world championship remains full of suspense, between Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia. The Spaniard kept the advantage, but in Japan, it was the Italian who had a perfect weekend to put the pressure back on, with only 10 points difference between the two contenders for the coronation.
Between the Australian Grand Prix circuit, the favorites for this round and even the TV program… Here is everything you need to know about this new race weekend.
Le circuit : Phillip Island
Number of laps for the race: 27 (13 for the sprint format)

The favorites for the 2024 Australian GP
Once again, Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia will do battle with the world championship in their sights. If the Italian was the most comfortable during the last round, the Spaniard remains the holder, in Australia, of the circuit record. A route that he appreciates and therefore masters. Pay attention again to Pedro Acosta who, although having crashed in the last two races, had played spoilsport in Japan, taking pole position ahead of the two big favorites…
