Operation “Bring back your pasta”: Act together to support the Restos du Cœur de Gironde.
Because supporting people in need is everyone’s duty, let’s gather our strength to help them. Football is said to reflect society, so let's instill the values of solidarity and generosity now in our young people and adults of tomorrow.
This year, during the second round of U13 Pitch Football Festival, Saturday February 22, 2025we are launching a major campaign to collect food and hygiene products with the Restos du Cœur de Gironde. Our objective is simple: to mobilize each young participant to make their contribution to this great cause, by offering food and/or hygiene products, in order to support the actions of this local aid association.
The collection campaign, entitled “ Bring your pasta“, will take place on our 8 sites, where the Restos du Cœur teams will be present to receive your donations. These will make it possible to meet the urgent needs of tens of thousands of people in precarious situations, throughout the year.
Some donation ideas
FOOD NEEDS :
- Canned vegetables,
- canned fish,
- canned meat,
- dried vegetables,
- canned fruit,
- chocolates,
- compotes,
- biscuits,
- jams,
- riz.
BABY PRODUCT NEEDS:
- Hygiene products,
- couches,
- Powdered milks,
- Little baby pots.
HYGIENE PRODUCT NEEDS:
- Soaps,
- shower gels and shampoos,
- Razors,
- toothbrushes,
- toothpastes,
- Feminine protections.
Why is this collection essential?
Les Restos du Cœur de Gironde distribute nearly 3 million meals to poor people each year. However, the need for food and hygiene products is enormous and constantly increasing. By providing your donations, you directly contribute to completing the supplies necessary for this essential mission, thus allowing the Restaurants to continue their action.

How to participate?
Nothing could be simpler! During the U13 Pitch Football Festival, bring your donations (food or hygiene products) on one of the 8 sites, where you will find a collection stand. The Restos du Cœur teams will be present to collect your contributions and forward them to those who need them.
Together, let's make this event a moment of solidarity and sharing. Bring your pasta, and together, let's act to help those going through difficult times.

A sustainable operation
The “Bring back your pasta” operation will also extend to the U13 Pitch Departmental Final phase on April 5, 2025 and the National Beginners’ Days on June 14 and 15, 2025.
