From next spring, a gallery of Marais will pay a beautiful tribute to an absolute genius who is none other than David Bowie. With « David Bowie, Mr Jones’ Long Hair »we will be treated to a series of portraits and photographs highlighting the alias of Ziggy Stardust. For all fans of the artist or the simply curious, this is one of the cultural events at the start of 2025.
“David Bowie, Mr Jones' Long Hair”: the exhibition arrives in Paris
After the beautiful exhibition of the Palace in 2021, the free one from Fnac or even the street now dedicated to him in the 13th arrondissement, a new tribute is being paid to David Bowie in Paris, and it's happening next spring! The meeting takes place from March 22 to June 22 at the MR8 gallery, for the photo exhibition “David Bowie, Mr Jones' Long Hair”.
Pop culture icon, David Bowie will thus be celebrated in the form of several works. On the walls of the gallery, we will find numerous photos and portraits of the Briton, but also other symbols of the genre like Mick Jagger or John Lennon. Note that, throughout the journey, you will be able to find the writing of David Lawrence to make the adventure truly complete.
