The driver of a school bus and 7 of the 12 students on board were transported to hospital by ambulance following a collision with a commercial vehicle on Highway 69 Monday morning in the southeastern Grand Sudbury.

According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the bus driver suffered serious, life-threatening injuries.

Two of the students suffered serious injuries, but their lives are not feared.

The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured.
