We're celebrating in Vincent at Point Éphémère

In case you're not up to date on your calendar, this Wednesday, we're celebrating the Vincents! For the occasion, Oxfam is organizing an exceptional evening at Point Éphémère celebrating a Vincent well known to all: Vincent Bolloré. So there is no question here of celebrating the multi-billionaire, of course, but of restart the debate about what it represents : a power inherited from African resources, the propagation of a far-right ideology, or even control of powers and the media. To do this, Oxfam invites Guillaume Meurice (ex-columnist on Inter, dismissed last June, now on Nova) and a series of artists and speakers for a lively evening of stand-ups and round tables of all kinds, all followed by a DJ set anyway, because we're not going to stop partying.

We discover La Question at the Théâtre de la Concorde

A stone's throw from the Champs-Élysées, the Concorde theater reinvents itself as a civic place. With workshops, open stages and showsthis new institution puts art at the service of democratic issueseach month tackling current issues. And at the start of the year, the theater decides to tackle the theme of “Brilliant coup in democracy”a theme that resonates greatly with this new show on display: The Question. Adaptation of the autobiographical work of Henri Alleg – who denounces the torture of civilians during the Algerian war from his cell – this piece by Laurent Meininger uses a “ drought of minutes » like an Assize trial, where we hear the inaudible, the unbearable and even the unacceptable in a concise – almost clinical – narration refusing all emotion.

In Paris, it's hard to find anything better than Thrushnice restaurant nestled in square Lamarckto revisit the classics of Portugal. To end the dinner gently, we quietly enjoy cream puffswhich tenderly remind us of the best we could eat there, at the Manteigaria of course… A authentic tavern which also owes its success to the good humor of Rafael Dos Santos, founder of the place.
