The firefighters of Gers intervened “massively” on Wednesday January 15, 2025 in the middle of the afternoon to a rather unusual house fire.
It was at a place called Maison-Neuve, at Monclarin Armagnac, in the extreme northwest of the department, very close to the border with Landes.
Totally on fire
19 firefighters, two pump engines, a water carrier, a lifting arm, an ambulance, a security officer and a group leader were immediately sent to the scene, details the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of Gers (Sdis 32).
It was a hangar converted into a residential house 400 m² on one level. It was completely engulfed in flames when the firefighters arrived.
