Two police officers were sentenced, Wednesday January 15, by the Paris Criminal Court to suspended prison sentences as well as a definitive ban on carrying out professional activity in the public service for having hit a man during a custody in July. The court also sentenced them to a definitive ban on carrying out professional activity in the public service with provisional execution, that is to say applicable immediately, even in the event of appeal.
On October 29, the prosecution requested respectively thirty and twenty-four months of suspended imprisonment against these two police officers, as well as a definitive ban on practicing.

Maxime D., who had appeared for another case dating back to June 2022, was ordered to pay 1,200 euros in damages to a woman whom he had sprayed with tear gas when he had to accompany her after a refusal to taking a complaint. Maxime D. will be judged on March 20 with Clément B. in a third case, this time for violence in a meeting.
