We're willing to bet that history buffs on the Drôme won't miss a beat. Three meetings, each with two conferences, are on the program Departmental Archives, from January to March, in Valencia. Master 2 and doctoral students, supported by the Department as part of research projects on the Drôme in 2024, will present their work there from Wednesday January 22.

Three events not to be missed
The next restitution cycle will begin on Wednesday January 22 and will understand three dateswith two conferences each. The month of January will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in everyday life of the owners of brothels in the 19th and 20th centuriesand the organization of the State during the Austrian occupation of the Drôme, from 1815 to 1816.
Financing conditions
As a reminder, to obtain this funding, candidates must present a university research project which focuses primarily on the department of Drôme and rely, at least partially, on the archival, documentary, archaeological and museum resources of the Council's cultural establishments. departmental (departmental archives, departmental heritage conservation, departmental castles of Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Montélimar, Resistance museum of Vassieux-en-Vercors). Two more evenings are scheduled in February et mars. February 19the first conference will highlight Drôme pottery crafts and its evolution from the example of Erôme. The second will be devoted to a study of the building of the Cistercian abbey of Vernaison.
Finally, on March 19, the speakers will return to co-lordship in Valentinois-Dioisa little-known historical phenomenon, and the functioning of the county of Valentinois-Diois between the 12th and 15th centuries.
