If the outgoing mayor, Patrick de Gonzaga, had announced that he would only serve one term, he is nevertheless considering running again… His first deputy, Agnès Flamme, has already announced her candidacy and put together her list.
« He told me that he would only serve one term and that next time I would be the candidate. », Supports Agnès Flamme. Trainer in psychosocial risk management and former president of the association of business leaders in the Kilomètre Delta business area, this 56-year-old business leader had promised her grandmother that she would one day become mayor of village. In 2020, she follows Patrick from Gonzaga. Then a young retiree from Enedis, the latter had been deputy for town planning to the former mayor Nicole Perrau.
« I was in the working world… He told me that it would be easier if I left with him and that afterwards, he would give me the place “. Agnès Flamme becomes his first assistant. Only over the years, their relationship deteriorates. A problem of people more than differences of vision for this small village of 650 souls, on the edge of the RN 106.
« We had a very active track record. A lot has been achieved », agrees the two city councilors. For example: public lighting which today is entirely LED. The creation of a parking lot and the reconstruction of the socio-cultural center. “ Initially, I was more begging for a renovation. But ultimately, the arguments held up with the granting of several grants to do something new », recognizes Agnès Flamme.
Their problems would therefore be relational: “ I have had a lot of betrayals and disappointments… Only today, some are asking me to represent myself and continue the work », assures the mayor. As for Agnès Flamme: “ I haven't always agreed with him but I like things to be said. I'm like that… Whether it's the President of the Republic or a mayor, no one has complete knowledge! »
