In Champ-du-Boult (Noues de Sienne), the Leisure for All association held its general meeting on Friday January 3, 2025, in the presence of around thirty people.
At the start of the session, the co-presidents Jessica Badouard and Marie-Luce Métivier briefly returned to the activities carried out in 2024, among which we note the great success of those aimed at children with a forty participants at the April egg hunt; 150 participants in the anniversary of the liberation of the town. “Organized in collaboration with several local associations, the event marked the life of the town.” Next to 80 people were present at the September hike » despite the storm which almost made us cancel. The new formula of the course in the morning only was very popular.” Around fifty people participated in the Halloween afternoon “with the presence of the Contes et Parchemins association whose entertainment at the bus shelter was very appreciated and which we wish to repeat” and 120 participants in the evening show of Christmas.
On the financial side, the association has a slightly negative balance of €260. Note the entry into the board of directors of three new members: Philippe Duval, Louna and Mickaël Bouvet.
The 2025 program
Many activities are planned for 2025 with: meal of the Valentine's Day on February 9, Carnival of Saint-Sever on March 30.
A reflection is currently underway on the form that our presence at the carnival will take. It will not be a tank like it was the last time in 2006
Traditional egg hunt in April; teen outing July 5 ; animation » Tour de France » July 10 » because the Tour will pass through Champ-du-Boult that day. Here again we are thinking about the animation that we are going to organize. Traditional meal of mussels and fries July 13 ; walking rally September 7 ; Halloween October 25 and Christmas show December 13.
We are also considering a project to cross the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel but nothing has been decided yet.
With a great program of activities and two major events, Carnival and the Tour de France, the two co-presidents hope for “even more participation from the Chambourine population in the dynamics of the association”.
