The storm which started in the Vendée department moved from west to east early in the morning. The Météo Center site recorded gusts of up to 93 km/h at the Châteauroux-Déols weather station and 91 km/h in Montgivray.

Firefighters received numerous calls early in the morning, while around noon the windy episode was over. In total, around ten rescue interventions took place. At the same time, the Department's roads service was also asked to clear trees from certain roads, such as on the D20, in Douadic or around Cluis.
The phenomenon affected the entire department. At the height of the gale, the Enedis company recorded 10,200 homes without electricity throughout the Centre-Val de Loire region. At 4 p.m., in Indre, 120 power supplies remained to be restored.
