Women's Rights Day 2025: women's and feminist exhibitions to see in

This March 8, 2025, we are celebrating International Women's Rights Day: an opportunity to highlight women artists, thanks to numerous exhibitions to discover in and Île-de-.

They are painters, sculptors, muses, photographers, actresses, contemporary artists, actresses, politicians… They have inspired artists or they create their own art, their own universe. You will have understood: in this 8 mars 2025we celebrate women in art, in Paris! For this international women's rights daywe offer you a selection ofexpositions which shine a light on women.

Through their talent and their work, they have left their mark on the art world in every era, in all styles, with all the instruments at their disposal. These women artists have disrupted their field, but they do not always get the recognition they deserve.

This is why the museums, THE galleries and the art places strive to put them back in the spotlight, with exhibitions dedicated to their work or their influence on the world of culture. Exhibitions that we visit with great pleasure, as soon as they open!

So it's decided, this March 8, we're giving pride of place to female artists. But where to see them, where to discover them? To enjoy their works, nothing could be simpler: just visit the exhibitions below!
