Météo France has placed, for the day of Monday January 6, 2025, the Meuse on orange vigilance and the departments of Meurthe-et-Moselle, the Vosges and the Moselle on yellow vigilance, for the risk of violent winds. Gusts could reach 110 km/h locally.

For this stormy episode of “short term” which will first concern the Rhône (69) and the Loire (42), the meteorological organization has placed the Meuse on orange vigilance and on yellow vigilance Meurthe-et-Moselle, Moselle and Vosges, from Monday January 6, 2025 at midnight.
According to forecasts, the wind is expected to blow violently on Monday morning in Pays de la Loire and as far as Île-de-France. In the afternoon, the rains concentrate on the east and north-east of the country, accompanied by gusts which can reach 110 km/h.
In Nancy, gusts could reach 55 km/h in the early morning up to 75 km/h locally in the afternoon. In terms of temperatures, they will change from 11 degrees around 7 a.m. to 12 degrees around 1 p.m. Precipitation is also expected in the afternoon.
