Basket Landes-Charleville-Mézières (63-64): frustrating

The Landaises have not chosen the best way to launch a month of January which promises to be decisive in the championship and the Euroleague with a succession of 8 matches. We will have to get our ideas back in place before the reception of Mersin in the Euroleague (Wednesday), then a double trip to (Women's League and Euroleague).
Facing Flammes Carolo, in a clear upturn in form, Julie Barennes' daughters had difficulty entering the match, with skill at half-mast and a false rhythm. In the second quarter, the Landaises seemed able to control the match with a 7-point lead (32-25), but upon returning from the locker room it was the visitors who took the lead. In the money-time, the Flames were the most solid, despite a brilliant Leila Lacan (20 points, 5 rebounds).

Basket Landes finds itself 5th in the ranking, 3 victories behind leader Bourges.

The scorers: Lacan (20), Djekoundade (10), Geiselsöder (9), Djaldi-Tabdi and Ewodo (6), Pardon (4), Bussière (3), Macquet and Treffers (2), Slocum (1)
