Sunday January 12, at 3 p.m., Ciné Europe will screen a documentary film taking stock of the scientific advances that make it possible to understand how homeopathy works and what this practice calls into question.
Placebo effect or real medical science, everyone has their own idea in this area where the practice continues to be debated. Even more so when powerful financial interests take advantage of disinformation campaigns, obtain the delisting of homeopathic medicines or even the suppression of university teaching in this specialty. This film asks the following question: “Why such fierceness against these therapies that health professionals nevertheless continue to practice?”
For this first meeting which kicks off the 2025 film debate season and to answer the many questions that can be asked on the theme “Homeopathy: what to think? who to believe?”, three professional practitioners (two general practitioners and a veterinarian) will be present. To shed light on this social subject, head to the Europe cinema in Plaisance-du-Gers next Sunday.
Prices: adults, €7; young people up to 18 years old, €4.
