The Ottawa Senators will be without the services of goalie Linus Ullmark for an indefinite period.

Sunday, during his press briefing, head coach Travis Green indicated that his athlete’s state of health would be re-evaluated on a weekly basis.

The ’ number 1 goaltender suffers from an upper body injury. He was forced to leave the match on December 22 after the first period.

In 23 outings so far this season, Ullmark has maintained a 12-7-2 record, a .915 save percentage and a 2.38 goals-against average.

Also, the Ottawa club lost the services of defender Travis Hamonic for a period of two to four weeks due to an injury which was not disclosed by the Ottawa organization. He last played Friday against the St. Louis Blues.

The 34-year-old guard has three assists in 37 games this season. It’s the 10the player most used on average per game by Green.

Heading into Sunday’s National Hockey League clashes, the Senators sit fifth in the Atlantic Division standings. They have the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
