Questioned by Internet users about this video, thehe mayor of Montpellier, Michaël Delafosse, took legal action on Saturday January 4, explaining on the same social network:
“Incitement to hatred is an offense, as such, there is no doubt about this video, I am making a report under article 40 of the Penal Code to the judicial authority of Montpellier.“
The prefect of Hérault followed suit, making the same approach to the courts against this influencer known as “Doualemn”.
Of which act: the The public prosecutor's office announced this Sunday, in a press release to the editorial staff of France 3 Occitanie, that it had “Immediately referred the Montpellier police station for an investigation into the charge of public and direct provocation and no follow-up to commit a crime.”
Investigations are ongoing, according to Moune Mercan, deputy public prosecutor at the Montpellier judicial court.
