Friday January 3 in the morning, Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau announced the arrest, in Brest (Finistère), of the influencer “Zazouyoucef” after videos broadcast on social networks in which he called for attacks. News to which Finistère deputies Pierre-Yves Cadalen and Didier Le Gac reacted.
“Don’t let anything pass”
The latter, deputy for the third constituency of Finistère (rural Brest), welcomed in a press release “the joint work of law enforcement and magistrates which led to this arrest”.
“Faced with radical Islamism and community withdrawal, […] it is imperative not to let anything slip through” indicates the deputy. And to continue: “It is also up to each of us to bring to life, in the neighborhoods and throughout France, more than ever, our rule of law, the democratic tradition and the values of the Republic, with strength and rigor! »
On X, the deputy for Brest center, Pierre-Yves Cadalen in turn spoke on Friday January 3. “Calls for terrorism have no place in the Republic. We condemn them without reservation”commented the elected official from La France Insoumise.
