Météo-France is placing nearly 30 departments on orange snow and ice alert this Saturday. The entire north of the country is affected by this alert, which will begin this Saturday evening at 4 p.m.

Initially, the alert concerned Seine-Martime, , , Pas-de-, Oise, Aisne, , Haute-Marne, Ardennes, Meuse, Vosges, , Meurthe-et-Moselle, Haut-Rhin, Bas-Rhin and the Territoire de are concerned. The latter now extends to Haute-Saône, Aude, Côte d'or, all the departments of Île-de-France, as well as Eure, Eure -et-Loir and Orne.
