Like the original game, this version retains its old-school turn-based combat system but numerous modifications have been made to make the experience more fluid without necessarily lowering the difficulty. . Still as captivating, the title which is a prequel to Dragon Quest I and II (which will be released sometime in 2025) is placed at the start of the series' chronology by allowing you to play Elric, its very first hero. Before definitively moving on to the games that will punctuate the year that has just opened, we absolutely wanted to invite you to try the latter, which we will talk to you about in more detail very soon!
