Two cars completely burned last night in the English Channel, around fifteen kilometers apart

Two cars completely burned this night of Thursday 2 to Friday 3 January 2025In two different municipalities from La Manche: to Placy-Montaigu (delegated municipality of Saint-Amand-Villages), then to Saint-Lô. The two places are about fifteen kilometers apart.

The first fire broke out around 12:30 a.m.road to Dampierre, at Placy-Montaigu.

Five firefighters from the emergency center Torigni-sur-Vire extinguished it using a hose, but the vehicle was completely ablaze.

Three hours later

The second happened to a fifteen kilometers, vers 3 h 45, rue des Sorbiershas Saint-Lônot far from the Carrefour shopping center.

Six firefighters from the neighboring rescue center intervened, also using a hose. But here too, according to the Sdis (Fire and Rescue Department Service) of Manche, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
