The hunt had intensified over the past few days. According to information from Europe 1, the influencer of Algerian origin known under the pseudonym “Zazou Youcef” on social networks was arrested early this Friday morning in Brest.
He is suspected of having called, in several videos posted on the social network Tiktok, to commit attacks in France, videos which he recently deleted. In these, the Algerian influencer, in an irregular situation in France according to a source close to the matter, notably asked his community to “hit France”: “kill yourself” and “we are going to rape you”, had- he hammered repeatedly.

“Thank you to the magistrates and the police”
After this arrest, led by the BRI PJ of Loire-Atlantique with the support of the Raid, Bruno Retailleau reacted immediately. “Thank you to the magistrates and the police,” wrote the Minister of the Interior on his X account.
According to a source close to the file, the Algerian influencer, under OQTF, would be targeted by an expulsion procedure from French territory. When contacted, the Brest public prosecutor's office has not yet communicated on the legal consequences given to this arrest.
