Bleu becomes 'ici '

From Monday January 6, as part of the merger of the services of 3 Régions and France Bleu, France Bleu becomes 'here' and its 44 local radio stations also change their name. “It’s not every day that a media transforms… And a media that transforms is a media that lives with the times,” announced the local radio network.

From January 6 at 5 a.m., France Bleu will become Vaucluse here, just like the 43 other local radio stations. This name change marks an ambitious transformation that the radio network began in 2022 aimed at strengthening public radio's commitment to its proximity and local information offering.

Since 2019, 37 joint 'ici matin' morning shows have been launched and, since April 2022, the 'ici' platform has existed and ranks as the number one Radio/ brand with nearly 12.4M visitors per month.

Why 'here'? Here is the promise of 360 media, available on radio, television and on the web. It is also a brand, as well as a strong symbol that highlights proximity. The 44 local radio stations, including Vaucluse here, will offer more content on local news, more good deals, practical advice or services and more digital content.
