What a last one! Between the successes of Marseille, Grenoble and Angers, the stunning Dragons, the success on penalties of Cergy-Pontoise and the logical victory of Chamonix, we were not bored for the last evening of Synerglace Ligue Magnus of the year 2024!

Marseille 7-3 Nice
The meeting between Marseille and Nice didn't take long to get lively! From the 2nd minute, Marek Sloboda converted an assist from Teemu Loizeau. Marseillais Jan Dufek equalized five minutes later, then Cédric Desruisseaux gave the Phocéens the advantage a quarter of an hour into the game. Ten minutes later, while looking for the pass, Christophe Boivin finally found the path to goal. The Niçois do not give up and manage to return to unity thanks to Teemu Loizeau. The 78 from Nice punishes a puck which drags dangerously in front of the Marseille cage. After a face-off, Yohann Coulaud sent a shot into the top corner, bringing the 5,526 spectators present at POMGE to their feet. Just before the break, Nice's Luka Kalan recovers the puck in his own half of the ice, advances, then, without a solution, successfully tries his luck. The Spartans flew into the final third winning it 3-0, with goals from Paul Joubert, Maxence Leroux and Teddy Da Costa. The captain of the Spartans was decisive on five of Marseille's seven goals in the evening (7-3)! Author of three points this evening, Jan Dufek will spend New Year's Eve at the top of the points ranking with 41 points.
Chamonix 4-1 Anglet
The Chamonix players wanted to end the year in style in front of a full ice rink. It's done! Pioneers Saku striker Kristian Kivinen quickly opened the scoring with a powerful shot but Anglet quickly equalized with a long shot from Jamie Eyre. The Pioneers will regain the advantage thanks to Stanislau Lapachuk, who leads and concludes a 2vs1. In the very last seconds of the second period, Gabin Ville misses his shot but still deceives the vigilance of Isaac Charpentier. Stanislau Lapachuk scores a double at the very end of the match by scoring in an empty cage. By winning 4-1, Chamonix relegated Anglet to seven points.
Grenoble 7-2 Gap
As often, the Brûleurs de Loups entertain at home! The Isérois opened the scoring after a superb collective action finished by Alexis Binner. Served by Valentin Grossetête, Jordon Southorn doubled the lead shortly before the break, thus scoring his first goal for the BDL. After a goal canceled after review, Grenoble is at 4vs5. The Gapençais will take advantage of this to reduce the Gap thanks to the Czech Jan Dalecky. Grenoble regained a two-goal lead midway through the match with a goal from Christophe Boivin, which followed the action of François Beauchemin well. The Canadian returns the table ten minutes later after a good serve from Alexandre Mallet. In the third third, Gapençais Jan Dalecky scores a double, and a minute later Christophe Boivin scores his third goal of the evening on a powerplay. Alexandre Mallet and Matias Bachelet will increase the score in favor of the locals in the last 10 minutes (7-2).
Amiens 1-2tab Cergy-Pontoise
Narrow victory for Cergy-Pontoise in Amiens (2-1 tab)! On the lookout for a deflected shot, Synerglace Top Scorer Janis Svanenbergs opened the scoring in favor of Amiens. Shortly before the end of T2, Kalle Mullymaa equalized on a back pass deflected by an opposing skate. The two goalkeepers Sebastian Ylönen and Taran Kozun will hold out until the end, with 39 saves for Ylönen and 28 for Kozun respectively. The Jokers goalkeeper won the duel on penalties, helped by Aleksi Hämäläinen's goal. The Jokers end a series of five consecutive losses.
Bordeaux 3-5 Rouen
The Bordeaux Boxers opened the scoring in powerplay after a quarter of an hour of play. After a recovery behind the Rouen cage, Samuel Salonen was found and sent the puck into a mouse hole. Returning from the break, Bastien Lemaitre tries his luck at the blue line. His puck flees the frame, and hits the boards… but it comes back into the race of Mathieu Pompei who finishes on the backhand and doubles the lead for the Boxers. The Rouen Dragons are in bad shape. However, they will return to equality by the end of the third! French internationals Anthony Rech and Tomas Simonsen scored the Rouen goals with precise shots. Launched on the left, Sebastien Bengtsson found the loophole to give the Rouennais the advantage with a quarter of an hour to go. The Dragons will double the lead while they are inferior, following a poorly adjusted pass from which Tommy Perret takes advantage, launched one against one. Five minutes from time, the good work of Guillaume Naud along the strip was brought to fruition by Jared Dmytriw. Bordeaux will reduce the gap through Latvian striker Emils Gegeris, but will not be able to do more. Despite trailing 2-0, Rouen won at Mériadeck and came within a point of its evening host!
Angers 9-2 Briançon
What an evening in the Angevins’ lair! The more than 4,000 spectators must have enjoyed nine goals scored by their protégés. From a difficult angle, Teo Sarliève tries his luck and finds the right corner of the Briançon cage in the 10th minute. The Dukes will double the lead barely a minute later on a rebound taken by Cédric Di Dio Balsamo. Despite a double from Bror Fredrik Stromgren, Angers will take off in T2. Philippe Halley and Cédric Di Dio Balsamo score, but this third will above all reveal, once again, the talent of Braeden Shaw in front of goal. The Canadian shakes the net three times in three powerplays in five minutes! He is now alone at the top of the top scorers rankings with 19 goals. Archi-realists in powerplay this evening, the Dukes Philippe Halley and Matthew Prapavessis added two goals to the Angevin festival in numerical superiority. In total, five goals were scored by Angers in superiority this evening.
