A new twist for the Girondins?
According to information from Sud-Ouest, Oliver Kahn, the former goalkeeper of Bayern Munich and the German selection, would be interested in the takeover project of the Girondins de Bordeaux. Still according to the regional daily, the former president of OM Jacques-Henri Eyraud approached Gérard Lopez to inquire on behalf of the German last December. The idea for the former goalkeeper, executive president of the Munich club between 2021 and May 2023, would be to acquire shares in the Bordeaux club, by occupying the role of fund aggregator alongside Eyraud.
A first step
This contact would only bea first step and we should probably hear this summer to see if this comes to fruition or not. This information comes asand clubs, 4e of group B of N2 11 points behind leader Saint-Malostill has the objective of moving up to N1 this year.
