France in search of a second title
Titled in 2021 on the San Siro lawn against Spain (1-2), the French team will try to win a second title since the creation of the competition. The quarter-final table looks tempting with some great displays. In the upper part, Italy, winner of the Euro in 2021, will face Germany. The winner will face Denmark or Portugal. In the Blues' game, the last quarter-final is a duel between the Netherlands and Spain, defending champion in the Nations League and winner of the Euro this summer in Germany. Against Croatia, the Blues have a positive record in the 10 confrontations between the two teams. 6 victories on the French side, 3 draws and 1 defeat. During the last two matches which took place in the group stage of the 2022 Nations League, Croatia obtained a draw in the first leg (1-1) and beat the Blues at home (0-1) thanks to a goal by Luka Modric. The French public is also awaiting a return from Kylian Mbappé, not selected during the last rallies.
