The body of a 38-year-old man, wrapped in a bag and hidden under a cupboard, was discovered on December 24 in a box in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), we learned this Thursday.

Identified thanks to his tattoos, the victim was the subject of a worrying disappearance report. The body, discovered on the morning of the 24th, was in a burlap and plastic bag, hidden under a cupboard lying on the ground and filled with earth.

The tenant of the box in which the body was discovered had not paid his rent since June. The forensic doctor was unable to precisely determine the date of death, as the body was already in poor condition at the time of its discovery.
