Christmas is approaching and the excitement is ramping up! For this weekend of December 21 and 22, 2024, here is our selection of activities.

Extreme Quartz Bodies

Choreographer Rachid Ouramdane brings together ten performers, circus performers and extreme athletes, to flirt with the void. On stage, a narrow strap overlooks an imposing climbing wall, which video projections transform into natural landscapes. Whirling from documentary to reverie, the piece magnifies the quest for freedom pursued by these champions, on the edge between life and death.

Vintage parade, burlesque show and concert at the Breaking club

The We Love Vintage association and the See See Riders group are organizing a charity evening for the benefit of the Breaking club. The business, which offers ax throwing and a rage room, is fighting for its survival.

The public will attend a vintage parade with We Love Vintage, a concert by See See Riders (rock), a burlesque stripping show with Inez Von Kremik & Hina and a drag show on the theme of diabetes with René•e from the Brest collective drag Glory All.

Saturday December 21 at 8:30 p.m. at the Breaking club, 31 rue Yves-Collet in Brest. Free participation.

Christmas pop-up at Côte à cote all weekend

A Pop-up of creators, for Christmas, will open its doors this weekend at the Côte à Cote photo studio, in a space of 200 m2 dedicated to creation. The opportunity to discover local creators and stock up on original gift ideas.

Several creators from the region will come together to offer their creations: clothing, vintage furniture, candles, ceramics, illustration, jewelry, wax flowers, leather goods…

Visitors will also be able to participate in workshops during these two days: on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., a yoga class will be offered to start the day with Émilie from Mana Lab.

The event will also offer several culinary workshops by Karine & her connected gourmets on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. then on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Yoga and culinary workshops require registration on the website www.coteacote-studio.com.

The tattoo artist Kexin will also be present to offer flashes, she will be joined by the tattoo artist Fichtre on Sunday. Brest residents will also be able to spruce up their nails for Christmas Eve with nail technician Lolaas Nails.

Tattoo and nail technician services must be booked on site.

Saturday December 21 (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and Sunday December 22 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) at Côte à cote, 29 rue Voltaire in Brest. Free entry. Rens. : [email protected] or on Instagram @coteacote.studio.

Christmas music festival

For the first time, a special Christmas music festival is organized by the City. Concerts will be held in the streets of the city center and at city hall, Salon Richelieu.
