The Forvis Mazars Group, a global player specializing in audit, tax and consulting, announced the adoption of a new governance model aimed at promoting sustainable growth and strengthening its agility.
This structural change includes the creation of a central body, the Group Governing Board (GGB), composed of 15 members responsible for strategy and monitoring key issues. Among them is Abdou Diop, Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Morocco, elected during the General Assembly of the Group’s Partners.
The election of Abdou Diop within the GGB reflects the confidence that the Group places in its strategic vision and leadership. His role will be decisive in the development of global strategies, governance and the development of long-term projects for the organization present in more than 100 countries. This appointment also marks a first for Morocco, whose Managing Partner is now represented within the highest governance bodies of the Group.

Under the leadership of Abdou Diop, Forvis Mazars has strengthened its presence in the Moroccan market and beyond, consolidating its positioning in Africa. Its strategic management has allowed the firm to distinguish itself through innovative initiatives, promoting sustainable growth and operational excellence.
The Group’s new governance model is structured around two main entities. The Group Governing Board (GGB), responsible for strategy and global orientations, is chaired by Hervé Hélias. Furthermore, the Group Executive Committee (GEC), responsible for the execution of strategic decisions, is headed by Pascal Jauffret, CEO of the Group. These changes aim to strengthen the integrity of operations and sustain the development of the Group, which is among the top ten global firms.
