The Union Sportive Colomiers (USC) Omnisports is a union of associations which brings together 29 clubs and 1 multi-sport section in the city. This year full of events is punctuated by the traditional Christmas snack. “Through this event, we want to bring together all the children in the club,” explains Laurence Jurado, an active member of the association. “It’s a moment of sharing for all children, from 4 years old. They get together, exchange ideas and have a friendly and joyful time.” In this Christmas spirit, children, coaches, as well as all the members of the association gathered around a magical show at the Comminges hall, given by the Arfolie troupe. The show, entitled “Santa Claus, the Little Mouse and the Others”, amazed the spectators. The story: No crunching of boots, no tinkling of bells, no sliding of a sled and no loud voice… Nothing but silence in the immense forest so we worried, perhaps something bad had happened to the Santa Claus? !…. Among the 350 children present, Evan, 7 years old, judoka, confides. “I’m happy to see this show with my friends. We’re all together.” The accompanying people don’t shy away from their pleasure either, like Sonia Menen, a very active opera singer in the town. “It’s great that they can attend a cultural event designed for them.” This festive afternoon ended with a shared snack.
