Last year, Joël-Emmanuel Coulibaly participated with the France team in the Euro U17 qualifiers. After signing his first professional contract, the 17-year-old spoke in the club’s press release Ligue 1. “It’s an important day because it’s the result of what has been done since I was little. I’ve gone through good times and bad, and this one will be remembered. I’m very happy to be able to enjoy of the quality of training at Stade Rennais. It’s a great pride to sign professionally with one of the best clubs in terms of training.” The midfielder has signed until 2028 with the Rouge et Noir.
