“I expect a lot from justice”
Placed in pre-trial detention since November 12, a 35-year-old man will be judged this Wednesday, December 18, 2024, by the Lorient court, according to the immediate appearance procedure with a deferred deadline. The accused is being prosecuted for involuntary manslaughter and for involuntary injuries with two aggravating circumstances: driving under the influence of alcohol and without a license (four other people were injured in the accident). “I expect a lot from justice,” whispers a regular at the establishment where the victim worked. As for Karen, she was buried last November in Vendée.
