The Legacy of Gaudi: the small free jewelry exhibition in front of Notre-Dame de Paris

A small exhibition will take place from December 13, 2024 to February 13, 2025 with a view of Notre-Dame Cathedral, around jewelry works by Joan Serramià, great-grandnephew of the architect Gaudi.

You undoubtedly know Antoni Gaudífamous architect whose main unfinished work is the Sagrada Familia, but do you know Joan Serramianone of his descendants, Catalan jewelry artist presentation of December 13, 2024 to February 13, 2025 a stone's throw from Notre-Dame de cathedral. Influenced by his great-granduncle, he created numerous jewels, small “sculptures portables” and modular, entirely handmade, notably worn by women from royal families.

In 2004, during the wedding of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, the Catalan government commissioned a sculpture from Joan as an official gift to the royal family, while in 1995 all pieces in the series Naturalist were purchased by the Japanese imperial family!
