The latest published indicators confirm the sluggishness of economic activity on the Old Continent. On the political level, Emmanuel Macron indicated yesterday that he would appoint a Prime Minister within 48 hours.

Before the presentation of its strategic plan on January 16 during the publication of its annual results, Argan announces its objective to continue the pace of its debt reduction. “Our debt is under control with a controlled cost of 2.25% at the end of 2024 and expected at 2.10% by the end of 2025,” specifies the real estate specialist in warehouses in a press release.
Atos

Medincell
In the first half of the 2024/2025 financial year, Medincell posted a turnover of 8.62 million euros compared to 6.98 million euros a year ago. On the other hand, it posted a net loss of 14.56 million euros compared to 8.15 million euros a year before. The operational loss stood at 7.52 million euros compared to 8.98 million euros a year ago. For this half-year ending September 30, 2024, Medincell has cash and cash equivalents of 31.6 million euros as well as 7.2 million euros in term deposits recorded as financial investments.

Yesterday on Wall Street
American stock markets closed lower before the publication of inflation data which will be the center of attention this Wednesday. Although the increase in productivity in the third quarter was confirmed, the increase in labor costs was revised downwards. In terms of values, the IT services giant Oracle finished in the red in the wake of quarterly results below analysts' expectations. The Dow Jones fell 0.35% to 44,247 points while the Nasdaq fell 0.25% to 19,687 points.
