The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is currently looking for a suspect and witnesses in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on October 4 in the Ahunstic-Cartierville borough.

that day, two motorists engaged in a race on rue Lachapelle, not far from rue de Salaberry, heading north. One is driving a black Infiniti, the other is driving a black Audi.

During the race, the driver of the Infiniti collided with a third vehicle. The occupant of the latter died instantly. The driver was then arrested, while the driver of the Audi fled the scene, continuing his route to Boulevard du Curé-Labelle, in .

The SPVM is therefore asking for the public’s help in finding the fugitive. He is a white man who was wearing a black sweater at the time of the events. He reportedly drives a black Audi Q4 e-tron 2024 Premium vehicle.
