The 2024 competition (for the 2025 vintage) of Gard gourmand saw the distribution of 166 awards this year (56 gold, 57 silver and 53 bronze) to some 142 competitors presenting almost 500 products.
Bezouce carves out a good share by winning four of these awards.
Justine and Jérôme, Maison Lumen, are regulars at the competition as evidenced by the diplomas displayed, winning three silver medals with a caramelo cake, a frangipane galette and a praline puff pastry brioche. He testifies to his pleasure in creating new products, in confronting colleagues and in being able to discuss during the awards ceremony, with productions from his hands.
Cécile and Benoît, Exploitation JB, obtain gold for one of the many elements of a vast range from local crops: spreads, tapenades, table olives, oils, black garlic, jams, vegetables, etc.
After their oil, Cuvée du Père Julian – Organic virgin Picholine and a green tapenade in bronze last year, it is a black tapenade which is on the podium.
After Provence Prestige in 2023, or Miam d'Alès, we will find them with a very nice stand on most markets in the Region (Caissargues, Rodilhan, Bollène, Beaucaire, Uzès, etc.).
The new kid Steven Mgard has developed over the seasons and his favorites, a whole range of jams, Les Confitures de Justine et Baptiste, which he makes at his home near his sales space, Le Mas des gourmandises.
For its entry into competition, its Figs – pastis jam won a bronze medal. It will be present at the end of the year on local markets.
