INTERVIEW: Interview with the young Canadian Christopher Theodore

What kind of player are you on the ice?
I am a small, skilled player who likes to play fast and use my vision to create plays.

Did you know about the Magnus League before?
Yes, my goal has always been to start in the Magnus League because it is a very good League, and as a French Canadian it must be easier to adapt to the lifestyle in France.

Do you know any players who play in France or Europe?
A friend of mine was a player in Cergy a few years ago: Anthony Rinaldi. And I also train and skate with it Kyle Hardy (see: Canadian and attacker of the Brûleurs de loups of Grenoble) who helped me a lot to discover the Magnus League.

What is your best memory of college hockey?
My best memory is without a doubt winning the Atlantic hockey championship four years in a row in the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association which oversees university ice hockey tournaments in the United States). I also fulfilled my dream of playing at the University of Vermont last year in the Hockey East.

What do you expect from your first year with the Jokers?
I expect us to have a good season and hopefully win a championship. I can’t wait to meet the players, staff and fans.

A little word to say to our supporters?
I’m very excited to join you this year, and I’ll see you in a few weeks.

In French : Come on Jokers see you soon!
