2024 Legislative Elections. Turnout up sharply in Evreux polls

We haven’t seen this for a long time. In Évreux, the participation rate reached more than 70% in some offices in the center of the city prefecture of Eure.

More generally, at 5 p.m., one hour before the polling stations closed, 53.60% of voters in the 1st constituency of Evreux, 61.73% in the 2nd constituency had gone to vote in the offices of the prefecture city of Eure. This is more than 10 points more than in the first round of the legislative elections in 2022 where only 38.24% of voters had gone to the 1st constituency, 50.57%

59.63% in Eure

In the department, the turnout rate for the first round of the legislative elections at 5 p.m. in Eure was 59.63%. “It was 40.23% at the same time in 2022, during the first round of the legislative elections,” said the Eure prefecture.

A similar participation figure (59.39%) to that recorded by the Ministry of the Interior at the same time.
