Anti-Semitic tags were discovered on the town hall door and on a house in Allonville, near , in the , on Saturday, November 23 in the morning, reports France Bleu Picardie. On the town hall door, the message was written using a stencil. It begins with these words: “Message to the Jews and their lackeys, traitors to their race, politicians, media and magistrates”. It was deleted after the findings of the police.

“When you are elected from a small community (775 inhabitants), this type of act is never handled”explains the mayor of Allonville, Audrey Boché, to France Bleu Picardie. “We find it difficult to understand how we end up with gestures like this in our campaigns”continues the one who says she feels “anger and incomprehension”. The elected official received numerous messages of support. “In the commune there is really a general form of rejection and disgust for this act, and there is this solidarity which is created to say that we are all against what was done”she says.

The facade of a house which faces the street was also tagged, according to the mayor of Allonville. “I clearly think that it was not the citizen in question who was targeted, but they certainly had a smooth surface available which allowed them to spray paint their atrocities”estimates Audrey Boché, who contacted the public prosecutor of Amiens as well as the prefect of the Somme. On November 12, anti-Semitic inscriptions and swastika tags were found in the streets of Amiens. A man was arrested before being released without prosecution, according to France Bleu Picardie.
