It is raining heavily this Saturday evening in Indre. Some roads are flooded, this is the case in particular of the D923, the 2×2 lane which connects Châteauroux to Villedieu-sur-Indre. Several municipalities affected

On social networks, the Indre prefecture communicated the list of affected municipalities : Saint-Maur, Buzançais, La Châtre, Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, Heugnes, Ecueillé, Saint-Genou, Saint-Août, La Châtre, Villedieu, Mâron, Chezelles, Saint-Lactincin, Pellevoisin. State services indicate that several roads are flooded, as well as cellars.

In Saint-Maur, victims can gather at the sports hall, rue Villers**, indicates the town hall. In addition, two emergency numbers to contact the municipality are available: 06 32 63 82 23 and 06 70 52 06 08.

The departments of Indre and Cher are on yellow rain-flood and storm alert.

Heavy rain in the Cher at Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny

According to Météo France, it fell 40.8mm of rain in just 30 minutes in Saint-Martin-d’Auxigny (between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.) and 17.2 mm in just 12 minutes at the Chapelle d’Angillonat 4:24 p.m.
