A portion of the A26in the Calais – Reims direction, had to be closed to traffic while emergency services intervened. 26 firefighters were at the scene of the accidentas well as the gendarmerie, the Smur and the Sanef. Around 6:30 p.m., Friday November 22, a collision occurred in Pas-de-Calais between a heavy goods vehicle and three carsone of which ended up on fire. 5 people were treated, including one injured, who found herself trapped in her vehicle.
A 72-year-old woman injured and taken to Lens hospital for medical treatment
Sdis 62 first extinguished the fire in one of the cars involved, then extricated a motorist. This is a 72-year-old woman, who was taken to the Lens hospital for medical treatment. Two other men, aged 51 and 59 and with minor injuries, were transported to Arras CH.
A 62-year-old man refused transport, and the driver of the truck was left behind. Note that a dog belonging to one of those involved was injured in the collision, and had to be taken to a veterinary clinic.
