And here we go for three weeks of music… or almost. Because the concert given this Friday at the Vichy Opera Museum was only a foretaste of the 22nd Festival des Monts de la Madeleine which will begin on July 20 and end on August 11.

In perspective, no less than 21 dates in remarkable places (including village churches), between Allier and Loire, programmed by artistic director Willy Bouche. With in particular, on the Bourbonnais side, meetings in Arfeuilles, Laprugne, or even the Donjon, with young instrumentalists with promising talent. Better yet, shows will also be given… at local residents’ homes!

In Allier, classical music and heritage will (once again) form a winning duo

See you on July 20th

Enough to salivate for lovers of classical music which proves that it can also be resolutely contemporary, and who found this Friday, with Julien Martineau on mandolin, and Philippe Mouratoglou on guitar, two exceptional ambassadors having notably honored Paganini and Piazzolla.

And now, see you on July 20 in Barrais-Bussolles for the continuation of the festivities.
